A chakra energy centre within the human subtle system. Each of these centres governs specific aspects of our being on all levels (physical, mental, emotional, spiritual) and each embodies specific ideal qualities, (e.g., innocence, wisdom, generosity, compassion, collectivity, forgiveness, integration), which are fully manifested when the chakra is perfectly balanced and opened.

The seven chakras are the Mooladhara (Muladhara), Swadisthan (Swadisthana), Nabhi (Manipur), Heart (Anahat), Vishuddhi, Agnya and Sahasrara.
