Superego

From Sahaja Yoga Encyclopedia

Ego is the active part of our consciousness, the energy of “I think, I do,” which seeks to act and have an effect on its surroundings. The superego is the passive area, being a storehouse of memories (which can be true or false), unfulfilled desires, conditionings and emotions. It is the energy of “I feel,” which seeks to act and have an effect upon us. Most of us are too much inclined toward either ego or superego. Some move back and forth like a pendulum.
